We are back from our sixth visit to Puerto Rico. We spent a week in Fajardo, where Chris worked, and we lived like locals. From there, we took a cruise on Royal Caribbean’s Rhapsody of the Seas, visiting many islands in the Southern Caribbean. It was our first cruise in 3 years and it was nice to be back out on the ocean. We revisited a few ports from our 2022 cruise on the Explorer of the Seas and a few new ports. We had planned to end our trip with a few nights’ stay in Old San Juan, but the city was experiencing a multi-week-long water outage, so we pivoted to staying in one of our favorite places on the island, Luquillo.
