I am breathing easy today. This was the last week of school for my preschoolers! Soon, I will relaxing, enjoying the summer, and working on my photography.

One of my goals is to photograph every state park in Michigan. Slowly, but surely, I have been crossing parks off the list. This shot was taken at Pinckney Recreation Area. This is a park with lots to do including camping, fishing, and swimming. If you’re a hiker, the Waterloo-Pinckney Trail is a 35 mile trail that connects the park to neighboring Waterloo Recreation Area.

Walkway by the Water

A Walkway by the Water

This weekend I am enjoying all things Grand Rapids has to offer! This weekend is the Michigan Early Childhood Conference where preschool teachers come from all of the state come to share ideas for the classroom. This is always one of my favorite weekends of the year!

This photo was taken on a walkway above the Grand River behind the Amway Grand Hotel. I think the black and white really emphasizes all the lines in the walkway and the hand rail.

Spartans Will

Demmer Family Hall of History

Today is the big day for college basketball fans, The Final Four. To celebrate The Spartan’s underdog run, I’ll share with you a photo from The Michigan State University Campus. The Demmer Family Hall of History is located in the Scandalaris Football Center and celebrates memorable moments in Spartan Football History. On my visit to the Hall, I enjoyed seeing the Paul Bunyon trophy and the mural of the 2013 team.
